Staff Re-Sync lets authorized building staff — such as PMC Owners, Property Managers, Concierges, and Superintendents — manually re-sync digital keys for residents, staff, and visitors directly in the Carson platform. This helps resolve common access issues without contacting Carson Support—when the issue falls within supported conditions.

How to Sync
Before You Start
- Make sure you are logged into the Carson Mobile App.
- Syncing is done per building, so confirm you are viewing the correct building.
Steps to Sync a Staff User
Option 1: From Staff Management Landing Page
Step 1
From the main navigation menu, tap Staff Management.
Step 2
Scroll through the list or users or use the search bar to locate the staff member you want to sync.
Step 3
On the right-hand side of the staff card, tap the Sync button.
Step 4
Tap the system you want to sync with.
Step 5
A success message will appear confirming the sync.
Option 2: From Staff Detail Page
Step 1
From the Staff Management landing page, tap on the staff member’s name to open their detail page.
Step 2
On the detail page, tap Synchronize.
Step 3
Tap the desired system.
Step 4
A success message will confirm the sync.
Steps to sync a Resident User
Option 1: From Resident Management Landing Page
Step 1
From the main navigation menu, tap Resident Management.
Step 2
Scroll through the list or users or use the search bar to locate the resident you want to sync.

On the right-hand side of the resident card, tap the Sync button.
Step 4
Tap the system you want to sync with.
Step 5
A success message will appear confirming the sync.
Option 2: From Resident Detail Page
Step 1
From the Resident Management landing page, tap on the resident’s name to open their detail page.
Step 2
On the detail page, tap Synchronize.
Step 3
Tap the desired system.
Step 4
A success message will confirm the sync.
Steps to sync Visitor User
Option 1: From Visitor Management Landing Page
Step 1
From the main navigation menu, tap Visitor Management.
Step 2
Scroll through the list or users or use the search bar to locate the visitor you want to sync.
Step 3
On the right-hand side of the visitor card, tap the Sync button.
Step 4
Tap the system you want to sync with.
Step 5
A success message will appear confirming the sync.
Option 2: From Visiotr Detail Page
Step 1
From the Visitor Management landing page, tap on the visitor's name to open their detail page.
Step 2
On the detail page, tap Synchronize.
Step 3
Tap the desired system.
Step 4
A success message will confirm the sync.
