Staff Re-Sync lets authorized building staff — such as PMC Owners, Property Managers, Concierges, and Superintendents — manually re-sync digital keys for residents, staff, and visitors directly in the Carson platform. This helps resolve common access issues without contacting Carson Support—when the issue falls within supported conditions.

How to Sync
Before You Start
- Syncing can only be done at the building level.
- Make sure you are logged into the Web Admin Portal.
Steps to sync a Staff User
Step 1
From the left-hand menu, go to Buildings.
Step 2
Click on the building where the staff member is assigned.
Step 3
In the top navigation bar, click Staff.
Step 4
Use the search bar or scroll to locate the staff user you want to sync.
Step 5
On the right-hand side of the staff row, click the Actions button.
Step 6
From the dropdown, select the appropriate system to sync with.
Step 7
After clicking, a green success message will appear.
Steps to sync a Resident
Step 1
From the left-hand menu, go to Buildings.
Step 2
Click on the building where the resident is assigned.
Step 3
In the top navigation bar, click Residents.
Step 4
Use the search bar or scroll to locate the resident you want to sync.
Step 5
On the right-hand side of the resident row, click the Actions button.
Step 6
From the dropdown, select the appropriate system to sync with.
Step 7
After clicking, a green success message will appear.
Steps to sync a Visitor
Step 1
From the left-hand menu, go to Buildings.
Step 2
Click on the building where the visitor is assigned.
Step 3
In the top navigation bar, click Visitor Management.
Step 4
Use the search bar or scroll to locate the visitor you want to sync.
Step 5
On the right-hand side of the visitor row, click the Actions button.
Step 6
From the dropdown, select the appropriate system to sync with.
Step 7
After clicking, a green success message will appear.
