The Staff Only Resident Info will allow your team to easily track and quickly reference important information regarding your residents. The Resident Info is viewable to staff-only via the Carson web admin and mobile app. To get started, please login to the web admin at admin.carson.live for set-up.
Using our Yardi API Resident Sync?
If you are using the API-based Yardi Voyager 7S resident sync with Carson, you can also choose to enable the syncing of the following fields to your residents in Carson:
- Move-out Date
- Pets Info
- License Plates
Please note that any fields populated in Yardi that are being synced to Carson cannot be manually overridden in Carson.

Use Carson Service Requests?
Populated Pets Info fields will show up on a Service Request whenever a resident puts in a ticket.
Step 1
Select the Settings tab from the top of the horizontal toolbar.
Step 2
Click Staff Only Resident Info on the left-hand side of the menu that starts with Remote Doorman.
Step 3
By default, Move Out Date, Pets Info, and License Plates are already toggled on.
Click Add Fields to set up your own custom field.
Step 4
Name your Custom Field under the Add Field Title and briefly summarize it under the Add Field Notes field.
Change the field type by clicking on the drop-down menu to the right of the gray field set-up box to change the kind of information that will appear in that field.
You will be able to choose from 7 field types for your Resident Info field. Please see Types of Fields at the bottom of this article for more information on each field type.
Your fields will appear on the page as they are added, as well as in the mobile app under Resident Management.
Step 5
To start using your newly-created fields, you will want to add them on to the Residents page by adjusting the columns on your resident list. Click on *Columns to toggle on your newly created fields.
