Carson Living is a certified Yardi Interface vendor. You can now automatically manage resident data (move in and move out) using a secure and reliable API supported by both Carson and Yardi. With this API-driven resident sync, you'll get the benefit of frequent intra-day refreshes of your current residents, plus the added flexibility of on-demand sync initiated by you in Carson's admin portal.
Get started
I. Check that your Voyager 7S environment is up to date with the following minimum plug-in versions:
- Interfaces PIv 24.01
- Common Data PIv 21.1
- Service Request PIv 17
If your environment is not up to date with these plug in versions, please contact you Yardi Account Manager to request an upgrade.
II. Request that Carson's vendor package is loaded to your environment
Please enter a case in Client Central (Yardi's support portal) to have the Carson Service Requests vendor package loaded into your database.
This step is required only until Yardi releases Service Request plug-in v19. Since the current version is 18.1 (released 09/26/2022) it is still necessary to add the vendor package as of 12/12/2022.
III. Configure the interface in your environment & share credentials with Carson team

- If additional assistance is needed with configuration, your Yardi Account Manager or core support team can help. Per Yardi's policies, vendors are not allowed to work directly in your database UI.
Once you have configured the interface for your environment, send your Carson support team the following connection information:
- Voyager URL
- Interface Username
- Password
- Database name
- Server name (always the same as the database name)
Please also provide a list of the Yardi Property IDs for each building.
