Adding Visitors/Vendors

Step 1

Select the Visitor Management button on the left sidebar then select Add New from the top right corner

From the drop-down select Visitor or Vendor

Step 3

Fill out the boxes provided. You must fill out first and last name (or company name), and building. If sending a digital key, you must also add a phone number or email.

To set an expiration date fill out the Valid Until section. To give them permanent access leave it as is. 

At the bottom, select Send Digital Key to give your visitor or vendor easier access by allowing them to let themselves in through their phone.

Step 4

Select the type of key you want to send under Period.

15 minutes sends a text to the visitor with a code they can text back. After they use it the code only works for 15 minutes. This key type works only for online door openings and requires a phone number be added.

Unlimited sends them an email and/or text invite to download the Carson app for visitors. It will only include the buzz open door button and it will only work when nearby the door.

Select which doors you want the visitor to have access to.

Select Submit once you are finished
