If your building has Bluetooth-enabled locks you can follow the below steps to unlock the door. If you already have Bluetooth enabled for Carson on your phone you can skip to Step 3.
Buildings with Bluetooth locks may also use the cloud to unlock the door. If this is the case at your building Bluetooth will only be available if the internet is offline in the building or your phone is not able to connect to data otherwise it will default to the cloud.
Step 1
Once Bluetooth is enabled at your building you will receive a prompt asking for Carson to use your location services and Bluetooth. Select the blue Allow Access button.
Step 2
You will then get a popup asking to use Bluetooth, select OK or ALLOW. If using an Android phone on a second popup asking to use location services please select ALLOW as well.
Step 3
To then open the door select the blue Open Door button from the bottom of your dashboard then select the Bluetooth door you are at to open
Step 4
The below images should appear when it is time to hold your phone up to the lock to unlock the door. Place the back of the phone with the center of the phone up against the lock. A green light will appear when the door is unlocked. Pull down the door lever and push the door to open.
