Adding the Open Door Widget - iOS

If you're looking for the quickest way to open a door from the Carson app, we recommend installing the Open Door widget. When selected, the widget takes you directly from your home screen into the door selection menu of the Carson app.

To install the widget, please be sure you already have the main Carson app installed and are logged in.

Step 1
Find the Carson app on your homescreen, then press and hold the app icon until a pop-up appears. Tap the the Widget you wish to use.

Step 2

The widget will now appear. Tap the widget when ready to use.

Step 3

You will then be redirected to the Unlock doors tab on the Carson app.

 

Widget Types

Users can choose between the larger toolbar-style widget or a smaller-sized icon.
